As the result of life-long exposure to the beautiful settings in upstate New York, Tony Piazza developed an affinity to plants in and out of their natural settings. After formal design education at Cornell University, He became a horticulturist and realized his goal by forming Piazza Horticultural Group in 1998. The firm's specialties include the design and installation of landscape gardens ranging from formal estate settings to smaller cottage gardens, fine property maintenance and potscapes as well as wide-ranging project management services.

Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design

Piazza Horticultural Group was chosen as part of a design team that included architects, mechanical engineers and interior designers for a LEED residential home construction in Sag Harbor, New York. The home was awarded Gold Certification by the U.S. Green Building Council. Our landscape design and installation was created with the client to be environmentally sustainable and incorporates all aspects from irrigation, rainwater capture, native and drought tolerant plant selection, water permeable driveway system, wildlife attraction and low maintenance.
